Who Can Participate?
All students in grades 2 – 12. Public, private, homeschooled and youth groups included.
Why Participate?
To spread the word about the importance of conserving our natural resources
To show how conservation can make a difference for all of us!
To celebrate National Stewardship Week (usually the last week in April) sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts
To win prizes and recognition for your school

Mercer County poster contest winners also take prizes at the
State and National levels!

We are pleased to announce that two of our 2012 first place local winners also did very well at the STATE and NATIONAL competitions! Tiffany Fang (10th grade) earned first place for her grade category in NJ, plus overall State Grand Champion. Tiffany also took second place in the national competition, sponsored by the National Association of Conservation Districts! Julia Ku (8th grade) earned first place in the state-level competition, plus first place in the national competition. Great job Tiffany and Julia!

The Mercer County Soil Conservation District is pleased to announce the winners of the 2009 NJ Conservation Poster Contest for Mercer County. This year’s theme was “Dig It! The Secrets of Soil”.
